MONDAY! We will watch the following YouTube video on child labor in the early 1900's. Then we will visit "The History Place" Lewis Hine page and look at some of the TRUE stories behind the photos.

2. What kinds of jobs did they do?
3. List a couple quotes that show the children's treatment by adults:
4. What types of injuries did the children sustain?
5. How much did they sometimes earn per day?
6. What were some of the long hours they worked?
7. What "vices" did they have? (risky behaviors)
8. OPINION: Do you think the government should regulate big business or do you think companies should be allowed to run business as they see fit? In what type of cases should the government step in?
